  • General Operations
    1. Old Mission Resort is a privately owned and operated facility and not a public park.  The resort caters to families and, as such, management reserves the right to refuse entry or use of park property and facilities; and has the right to terminate any guest’s stay, due to undesirable behavior or conduct, without a refund.
    2. All guests MUST register at the office whether just visiting for the day or staying for a longer period.
    3. Old Mission Resort, management or staff are not responsible for any misfortunes or accidents on the premises or off premise activities. The guest/visitor assumes all risks & danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, bicycling, or swimming, or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that owners, agents & employees are not liable for theft or loss of any kind, injuries, vandalism, or property damages resulting from such causes. Please report any health & safety issues requiring our attention.
    4. Patrons must be at least 19 years of age to rent a site or cabin.
    5. Campers are responsible for the actions and safety of their children, guests and visitors. Children under the age of 12 shall not be left alone or unsupervised in the park at any time.

    7. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under the owners control at all times. Pets are not to be left unattended at the campsite and should not continually bark or howl as to interfere with the normal enjoyment of other guests. A strict “stoop and scoop” policy is enforced throughout the premises of the Old Mission property. Please DO NOT throw poop baggies in the bush. They attract bears and are to be disposed of with regular garbage.
    8. The cutting of trees or branches or other defacing of any natural or man-made property is strictly prohibited. This includes nailing or affixing articles to trees or park facilities. This also includes the removal of rocks along shoreline, roadway or paths throughout the Old Mission Property.  Standing or fallen trees are not to be cut or burned. To reduce the spread of invasive species, outside firewood is not permitted. There is a supply of campfire wood available for purchase.
    9. To discourage the spread of invasive species, bait is not allowed from outside the area. Bait is available for purchase at the office.
    10. Discharge of any type of weapon is prohibited on Old Mission property. This includes air rifles, paint ball guns, air soft guns, bow and arrow, sling shots, etc.

  • Deposit & Cancellations

A deposit of $250.00 CAN for cabins and $100.00 CAN for campsites is required to hold your reservation and is non-refundable. Due to Old Mission Resort’s operational size and limited season, cancellations give us little opportunity to fill open cabins.
